Barber Ford was originally established in 1949 by R.E. Barber at the corner of River Avenue and 7th Street in downtown Holland, Michigan. As Holland grew, we expanded to meet the needs of West Michigan drivers. Construction at our current location, 640 East 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423, began in 1964 and we moved in on January 1st, 1965. After R.E. Barber's passing in 1980, long-time employees Doug Wierda and Ed Bosch purchased the dealership in 1982. Today, Barber Ford is owned by Curt Wierda, Chuck Wierda, and Tom Genzink, continuing our family tradition of serving Holland, Zeeland, and West Michigan with integrity and excellence.
