Going on a long road trip? Are you prepared? If you are not sure how to get prepared, then don't panic-it's not difficult. You want to make sure that your fluids are topped up, like your windshield washer fluid, oil, and gas. Make sure that your tires are properly inflated and your insurance and registration are up to date. If you're traveling with kids, make sure you keep your sanity and pack lots of things for them to do. Be sure to also plan a few things to do along the way as well as at your destination. Be careful to not over plan, though. You want to keep your trip feeling relaxed and not rushed and stressful. Be sure that you at least take one scenic route an take lots of pictures. Bring plenty of snacks and pillows and blankets in case you need a nap along the way.
