Could the 2017 Ford Explorer be the Crossover for You and Yours?

Might you be on the hunt for a full-size SUV? Well, if so, we here at Barber Ford feel you may well flip your wig for ours, the 2017 Explorer.

And what makes us say that?

Click "play" on the clip below to find out; here now with more on the Explorer's most salient qualities are the car critics at MotorWeek:

The Explorer's mid-level engine -- a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder -- provides fun and frugality simultaneously.

Optional on the Base and XLT trims, the turbo-four matches with a six-speed automatic transmission to turn out a hearty 280 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. It receives front-wheel drive as standard, while an all-wheel system is available as an option.

We enjoy this engine from a fuel efficiency perspective, too, as front-wheel-drive versions, for instance, are estimated to achieve 22 mpg combined (19 city/28 highway).
